Why Hypnosis?
Difference between Hypnosis and Talk-Therapies
Hypnosis differs from the approaches of talk-therapy in that the habit or pattern a person is using to achieve a certain result is what I address. Perception is everything and how we interpret our thoughts and/or behaviour simply reinforces that routine.
The mind tends to distort, delete, or generalize, to be most efficient. While very effective in some respects, this process can also happen to thoughts and behaviours that have a negative impact on our lives.
Often times, negative patterns are left alone without much consideration. Many people consider such negative patterns to simply be a part of who they are. The truth is, we can change these experiences rather than be subject to them!
How long will it take?
Another added benefit of hypnosis is its efficacy. When negative habits/patterns are being addressed at the unconscious level, the mind can take a new set of instructions its given and respond accordingly. This results in faster change. It allows you fix the outcome without the necessity of unpacking everything that came before it, saving you time and money.
Many clients achieve the changes they are wanting within a few sessions, if not one. Hypnosis-client relationships are not a years-long process!
Virtual Sessions
Hypnosis sessions performed one-on-one, remotely are just as effective as working with a client in the office. An added benefit clients report back are that they often feel comfortable doing so from home, again, saving time and money.
